An Irregular Heartbeat
This painting has no certain pattern or shape. Just random colours splattered everywhere and through the center is a white jagged line. Its suppose to represent a heartbeat. The message I tried to portray in those paining is that your life is colourful, be thankful for the vision your given and the heartbeat is to say your there, your alive.
Your Own Colourful Sea
In this painting, there are three fish and a whale. The water they are swimming in is in the pattern of a rainbow. ''ROY G B(i)V'' In this painting i tried to portray a family. The two top fishes are suppose to be the parents, and the one at the bottom. The whale is suppose to be a pet or a best friend. I would have added more fishes so that it would be like siblings, but there wasn't much room. I painted this photo in soft light colours so that it would represents that life is easy going and positive if you allow it to be. Don't make things complicated and just go with the flow! You have your family and friends around you who will always be there for you.
Karina, I like the fact that these images are so different. That shows that you were experimenting and that is a good thing. I think your first image is the more effective of the two. The contrast of the white line against the dark background is good. The general blurriness of similar colour tones of the fish image is less effective in my opinion.
